Rebecca Wood - BA (Hons) PGCE MA

Principal

Rebecca is a qualified teacher of Drama & Performing Arts and currently works as a teacher of Performing Arts, Drama and Theatre Studies of GCSE & A-level alongside Act One.

She has been a performer since she was three, and has many professional credits for theatre and film. She also regularly works as a professional actor, singer and performer.

Rebecca founded Act One in 2002 and has offered excellence in Musical Theatre and Acting for hundreds of local children. Her aim is to produce professional quality shows and ensure everyone involved gets a starring role! 

Tracy Johnson

Head of Dance

Tracy is a seasoned performer with lots of experience in dance and working with children. Tracy appeared in the professional production of 'Dreamers' at Oldham Coliseum and regularly performs on the amateur stage too! 

She has a background in street dance but has choreographed musical theatre, ballet, tap and jazz for Act One! Tracy is also a budding actor herself and enjoys directing!
