Year 7 students are free to choose whichever class they feel most comfortable in.

The Acting classes are open to a wide range of young people, from those seeking to increase their confidence to those wishing to pursue a career in the theatre and television. Our dynamic program provides young actors with a great diversity of material and challenges.

The Acting for Screen and Stage programme is comprehensive and covers improvisation, voice training, warm up skills, work with props, scripts, character analysis, theatre techniques, self-taping techniques, acting for camera, duologues, monologues, theatre games, audition technique, structured scenes and stage presence.

We also offer pupils the opportunity to enter TRINITY college screen acting exams and/or LAMDA Acting exams. These come at an additional cost and are completley optional. Students not undertaking the examinations will still benefit greatly from the process of developing and rehearsing the scenes and developing their performance skills for stage or screen.
